Six checks before you place a first order<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Most buyers lose money on peptide sourcing through the same three failures: a certificate that belongs to someone else, a purity number with no supporting chromatogram, or a supplier who cannot answer basic questions about their own production line. None of these are obvious if you don’t know what to ask for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide applies to every supplier in the industry, including us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Six fields to check on every COA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Lot number matches the physical label.<\/strong> A certificate for a different lot proves nothing about what is in your vial.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Test date is recent.<\/strong> Peptides degrade. A certificate older than a few months describes material that no longer exists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Purity figure and method appear together.<\/strong> “98% pure” means nothing without knowing whether it came from HPLC and how purity was calculated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. A chromatogram is attached.<\/strong> A bare number can be typed by anyone. A chromatogram can be checked for plausibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Retention time and peak assignment are stated.<\/strong> This lets you confirm the peak being measured is actually your product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The signatory is affiliated with the lab.<\/strong> A certificate signed by “QC Department” with no traceable identity carries no weight.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
